WCA C-Suite Session – CYBER SECURITY – Is Your Firm Protected?

The Washtenaw Contractors Association is introducing a new member benefit: the C-Suite Sessions.
The C-Suite sessions will be focused on subjects of specific interest to the management people in your firm. The topic for the first session will be Cyber Security, and will feature a panel discussion with leading experts in this field (see below.)

Bill Kowalski, Principal and Director of Operations for Rehmann Corporate Investigative Services (CIS).
Mr. Kowalski manages complex fraud investigations for public and private sector entities. He also performs fraud risk assessments throughout Michigan, helping agencies and corporations identify, eliminate, and prosecute fraud. In addition, he conducts seminars on fraud prevention and educates about the threat and cost of cyber crime. Mr. Kowlaski spent 25 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) most recently as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI office in Detroit with oversight responsibility for counter-terrorism operations throughout Michigan.
Charles Russman, Chair of Bodman’s Data Privacy and Security Practice Group. Mr. Russman oversees a team of attorneys who help clients of every industry sector and size defend their data. He and his team assist clients by providing practical and easy to use counsel on all aspects of data privacy and security. Mr. Russman also regularly speaks and writes about data privacy and security issues.
Doug Miller, Vice President, Executive Risk Practice Leader for Hylant. Mr. Miller brings 25 years of experience working in areas of coverage analysis, financial risk modeling and acquisition due diligence. In addition to serving many Fortune 500, middle-market, public, private and nonprofit companies with their management liability insurance needs, Doug is considered an industry expert, having been published and quoted in Business Insurance, Crittenden Research and National Underwriter, among others. He is also a frequent panelist and presenter on executive risk-related topics and coverage.
