Ann Arbor-based TEL Systems Inc., a leading integrator of professional audio and video systems is interviewing for an Audio Video Project Manager.

We’re searching for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work closely with our Installation and Engineering Departments to direct and coordinate large scale audio video installation projects.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for initiating all tasks and managing the completion of large-scale low voltage Audio and Video installations. These responsibilities include bid estimations and preparation of submittals, site visits, installation scheduling, attending construction meetings, supplier coordination and follow-through, and following up with all facets of the installation through all phases of the project.

Essential duties, requirements, and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Technical knowledge and proficiency in basic MS office applications, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Familiar with timelines and gant charts
• We prefer industry certifications such as CTS
• Constantly monitor quality, safety and progress of work on assigned projects
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to read and manage schematic system flow documentation
• Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
• Strong personal and Customer Service Skills
• Communication skills, verbal and written
• A critical “point person” to the client, communication skills, attention to detail and the technical knowledge, all of which are required to move large scale projects forward.
