The Washtenaw Contractors Association provides excellent labor relations services to our members and signatory firms by maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with local labor unions.

Contract Negotiation and Administration

The Washtenaw Contractors Association negotiates and administers labor agreements with several unions on behalf of those firms that have executed a "Power of Attorney" form WCA's labor relations services.

Current agreements are with:

• The Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters
• Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #2
• Laborers Local #499

Labor Training

WCA is one of several contractor organizations that support and direct the Detroit Carpentry Apprenticeship Program operated in partnership with the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and the Trowel Trades Apprenticeship Program operated in partnership with Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #2.
